"The best time to plant a tree was twenty years ago. The second best time is today."
Hello, I'm Armando Bellmas. I manage digital strategy and community engagement for the
Latin American Coalition, the largest Hispanic
service, advocacy, and cultural agency in North Carolina.
I work on projects involving data and content management, community engagement, social
media, fundraising and sustainability, and social entrepreneurship, specifically within Hispanic communities, the arts, and public media.
What else? I speak English and Spanish and love listening to, talking about, discovering, and sharing music.
I independently produce a multicultural music, performing arts, and media thing called ecléctico,
co-produced the immigrant rights documentary From the Back of the Line,
labored lovingly over a music and culture blending blog,
made photographs of people for love and money, and directed music, content, and programming at
WNCW. I also graduated from FIU.
I'm originally from Miami and now live in Charlotte with my two awesome kids.
Get in touch with me at @abellmas or by email
and let's plant a tree.
